Description

The Woodingdean Neighbourhood Watch scheme Chairman is John Paul Amos.

Woodingdean Neighbourhood Watch has been running since 2015 in the Village. The local Tenants and Residents Association and our PCSO are actively backing the scheme. One of our aims is to roll out the programme to the whole of Woodingdean by signing up street coordinators and members. This will enable us to update the signage and circulate information to the community to help them keep safe and avoid crime. Over 500 households have signed up to be part of the scheme. In 2018, following a long campaign by the Neighbourhood Watch team, Woodingdean was made a Police recognised "No Cold-Calling Area" meaning door-knocking trades people can be reported to the Police.
